Registration

Registration will open on Wednesday, February 1^st, 2012. All registration will take place on our website this year.

The entry fee for this year’s event is $250, which includes:

• Friday night dinner banquet
• Saturday lunch
• Access to the hospitality room Friday and Saturday night
• Gala Dinner/Dance on Saturday night, featuring salmon and prime rib
• The Opportunity to curl with and against some of the game’s best curlers from Canada and Europe!

Guest tickets for the Saturday night Dinner/Dance tickets are available for $75.

Please note that 100% of the pledges go to SickKids Foundation and our sponsors pay our skips expenses.

Fundraising

There are two methods for fundraising this year.  You may choose to use one or the other, or a combination of both. 

The first is online.  By selecting the green “Participant Fundraising” button on our home page, you will be able to sign up for your own personal fundraising page.  You will be able to email your friends and family the link and they will be able to donate directly to SickKids Foundation online.  Your page will track your donors for you.

The second is for cash and cheque pledges.  By selecting the “Donation Pledge Sheets” button on our home page you will be able to download and print a pledge sheet to track your cash and cheque donations.

Team Selections

The Top Ten Fundraisers will be acknowledged at the opening banquet and will pick their skips in a draft format.

Following the Top Ten, any fundraiser collecting pledges over $1,000 will be given the option to select their skip as well.

All other participants are randomly drawn onto their teams.

Final team listings will be posted in the curling lounge and on www.celebritybonspiel.com

Draw Format

All games will be 4-ends, including the Event Finals.

Flip a coin for last rock advantage, colours are pre-determined.

In the event of a tie, the skips will draw to the button for the win.

Points Spiel: 10 points for a win
1 point for each end won
½ point for a blank end
¼ point for each point scored

The top 2 teams in EACH DRAW will advance to the event finals.
